Style your home with Room to Improve. Dublin designer, Dermot Bannon has revealed that over 400 people have already applied to be included in the new series of RTE’s home makeover show.

Room to Improve has really captured the imagination of the Irish public with people looking for Dermot’s experience to help them revamp their homes into stylish and fashionable places to live.

Chatting recently to Irish on-line news website Independent.ie, Bannon confirmed that the show has already had over 400 applications from members of the Irish public who are applying to the show for different needs and that the team are going through each application to whittle it down so they can concentrate on projects they haven’t done before.

Dermot said “What you’re doing is, you’re picking your work for the next year. It takes about a year to make the show and you’ve got to make sure you’re interested enough in the project,”

The Malahide native added that he thinks Irish people are “obsessed” with houses.
