Little Mix on their debut makeup range LMX. Having been in the limelight for so long, Little Mix know a thing or two about putting together a makeup look. So when they announced their new range, LMX, it was a surprise to no-one.
The ‘Black Magic’ singers – made up of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – have released a new makeup range that includes nude lip-liners, matte lip paints and colourful palettes, as well as being cruelty free and vegan friendly.
The group spoke to Glamour about their new brand, beauty faves, body hang-ups and life advice for their fans.
When asked why they decided to create their cosmetic range, Jade said: “We’ve literally always wanted to do our own makeup range, we just had to wait for the right time.
We’re all very much comfortable in our own skin and know exactly what we like to wear makeup-wise, what we wanted to create, so yeah, it’s definitely the perfect time to do it now”
She also explained how all the girls had a very hands-on approach to the products.
“We came up with all the names, for all the shades. So with the eye-shadow palette, every single shade references one of our songs or song lyrics. From the get-go, we’ve been involved in the whole process, what shades they are, what products…”
Perrie revealed the hardest product to get right. She said: “One of the hardest to get right was probably the Shout Out palette, the lip palette, Shout Out To My Pout. That was hard because the slightest little tone difference changes the look completely.”
The pop group confessed that they had ‘so much fun’ with their new venture, with Leigh-Anne saying: “”I can’t believe this is our brand, it’s so cool!”
