According to entertainment website, TMZ, De Niro and his wife of 2 decades, Grace Hightower are no longer living together and could publicly announce their split in weeks to come.
Robert and his wife Grace married back in 1997 after dating for 10 years. Together they have 2 children, 20-year-old son Elliot and 6-year-old daughter Helen.
This is not the first time their marriage has hit a sticky patch with the Robert filing for divorce back in 1999, just two years into their marriage, but the pair never followed through and remained together,
The couple instead renewed their wedding vows in 2004, in front of a star-studded crowd including Meryl Streep, Ben Stiller and Martin Scorsese.
75 year old De Niro and Grace first met back in 1987, when Grace was working at Mr. Chow in London. Robert De Niro is one of the most respected actors across the globe and has won every honour in the business. He is infamous for his parts in hit movies such as The Godfather, Goodfellas and Casino to name a few.
