Nominations for the 2019 Grammy Awards Announced. The nominations for the 2019 Grammy Awards have been announced, with Lady Gaga, Cardi B, Kendrick Lamar and Drake leading the charge.

Gaga picked up five nominations – four for her work on A Star Is Born – in the Song of The Year, Record Oof The Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Song written for Visual Media categories for Shallow.

Her fifth nomination came in the Best Pop Solo Performance category for Joanne (Where Do You Think You’re Goin’?) where she will battle it out with Beck’s Colors, Camila Cabello’s Havana and Ariana Grande’s God Is A Woman.

Cardi B has cause for celebration as she is bags five nominations , including Record Of The Year for her song, ‘I Like It’ and the Album of The Year for Invasion of Privacy.

She’s also been nominated in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with her collab with Maroon 5 on ‘Girls Like You’, as well as Best Rap Performance for Be Careful, and Best Rap Album for Invasion of Privacy.

But it’s Kendrick Lamar who’s leading the nominations, with a total of 8 for his work on the Black Panther soundtrack.

Best New Artists nominees include Dua Lipa, Margo Price, Jorja Smith and Greta Van Fleet.
