Miley Cyrus shows off her new vegan Converse fashion line. American singer come fashion designer, Miley Cyrus has launched her new- all vegan fashion line that consists of a range of cruelty free fashion items with American shoe company, Converse.
The 26-year old singer from Tennessee has collaborated with the US fashion company as “doing her part in promoting ethical fashion” with her Converse x Miley – all-vegan, cruelty-free fashion range.
The “Malibu” singer who is daughter of 80’s county rock singer, Billy Ray Cyrus, is a self- confessed vegetarian and lives on a strict animal free diet.
Her Converse x Miley – an all-vegan range only uses cruelty-free material such as faux patent leather over animal-sourced materials.
Her 25-piece collection includes tracksuits, monogrammed crop-top shirts, trainers, platform shoes and bright glittery bodysuits.
One “look-out piece” in her new collection is her burgundy and pink faux-leather platform sneaker which includes her brand’s signature across the bottom of the laces and the shoe itself.
It also includes the initials ‘MC’ on the heel of the shoe that appears in the style of Mickey Mouse. Last week she was spotted in London wearing vintage faux fur designed by top UK designer, Vivienne Westwood and her accompanying vegan leather cowboy boots were designed by Casadei.
The singer is also a fan of UK fashion designer, Stella McCartney and appeared at this years ‘Heavenly Bodies’ Met Gala wearing a stunning backless fishtail cruelty-free gown designed by the London fashion designer.
Chatting at the event she said: “I’m here so excited to be a part of this because I think this moment can be about so many different things, and for me, I want to bring a message which is veganism and that there doesn’t have to be torture in fabulous fashion.”
