David Beckham criticised for kissing daughter on lips. This has to be political correctness gone crazy as former Manchester United footballing star and fashion model, David Beckham has been criticised by some critics for kissing his own daughter, Harper on the lips.

The former soccer star posted a photo of himself and his seven-year-old girl kissing by an ice rink in London as they enjoyed time together.

However, some people can’t leave well alone with some fans not recognising the importance of daddy-daughter time together and blasted the star’s behaviour as ‘disgusting’ and ‘inappropriate’.

According to The Mirror newspaper, some fans posted comments saying “Why are they kissing on lips??!?!!” while another troll commented, “I’m calling the police.” “I never let my dad kiss my lips is so disgusting. He kissed my face not my lips that not okay,” added another, while one questioned, “Its really weird for me, is this English’s culture?!”

Thankfully, other fans jumped to the 43-year old star’s defence stating that the kiss was a ‘beautiful’ thing and that anyone who thinks otherwise is dodgy in the head. “There is literally nothing wrong with parents kissing their children on the lips… unless you have a sick twisted mind and can’t tell the difference between a peck on the lips, and what you do with you boyfriend or girlfriend,” one fan said.

“I love this. I think it’s really important for parents to be affectionate with their children. It makes for happy adults,” added another, and a third echoed, “Nothing wrong with the affection shown between a father and daughter, or any parent and their child. NOTHING AT ALL!!” “Lovely pic, ignore all the snowflake comments from those who were clearly deprived of a loving home. Seriously people you need help if you think this is wrong,” agreed a fourth.

“It’s your baby girl… don’t let anyone tell you it’s seedy or not correct,” yet another angry fan hit back. “Get lost all you who think it’s not right – get a life leave others to live there’s as happy and content as they should be I will never ever understand this world the only thing wrong is to hurt children to destroy there innocence- lets just love and protect always.”
