Fans react to Westlife’s first single in eight years. Westlife have released their first single in eight years and fans can’t seem to get enough.
The eagerly-awaited track, Hello My Love, was dropped yesterday after members of the band had teased it on their social media earlier this week.
And fans has taken to Twitter in droves to congratulate Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan on their comeback single.
Even their old bandmate, Brian McFadden.
McFadden, who left the band in 2004, said: Love it! Great song great production. The boys are back!”
One fan wrote: “Still impressed by your voices after all these years listening to your musics”
While another said: “It’s great to hear you all singing together again. Roll on the tour xx”
Another couldn’t contain their excitement, saying: “You lads are AMAZING!!! i love love love it!!! This gunna sound epic in Croke being sung back by 85,000 fans…is it july yet 😂😂”
The band announced their comeback album and tour last October and are set to play two shows in Croke Park this summer.
They announced their second gig at the iconic Dublin venue after their first one sold out in minutes.
The boys will be performing Hello My Love, which was written and produced by Ed Sheeran and Steve Mac, on the Graham Norton Show this Friday.
