A Meghan Markle Musical Is Officially Being Made. Yes, you’ve read that correctly. It’s been confirmed that a musical about Meghan Markle is being made and will air on New Year’s Day.
Something that will no doubt tickle your fancy when you’re hungover after New Year’s Eve.
BBC’s Radio 4’s 15 Minute Musical has set its sights on the Duchess, with a ‘Rodgers and Hammerstein-inspired’ comedy broadcast confirmed for the Christmas schedule.
The musical, which will see actress Pippa Evans play Meghan, is called The Sixth In Line to be King and I, making it a play on the classical musical The King and I.
It will centre around Meghan’s life up until now and then ‘look ahead to what promises to be an exciting 2019 for the happy royal couple as they expect their first child in the spring.”
It’s said to be a ‘celebration’ of Meghan’s life to date and will only last for 15 minutes.
However, we’re not really sure what to make of this and it’s been reported that Kensington Palace has not been consulted about the making of it.
But sure, considering it’s only 15 minutes, we may tune in to see what the fuss is about.
