Beyoncé goes Alexander McQueen for cover of September Vogue. Beyoncé is once again showing her real feminine side as she graces the front cover of leading fashion magazine, Vogue.
The 26 year old beauty or “Queen Bey” as she is also known, actually makes history as Vogue features 2 different covers featuring the Texan singer for their September edition.
In the first cover shot, Beyoncé looks stunning as she is snapped wearing a colourful dress accompanied a black corset designed by from British fashion designer Alexander McQueen. In the second cover photo, Beyonce is photographed wearing a high neck ruffled white dress that really shows just how stunning this singing sensation really is.
There’s more history I the making for Vogue magazine as it’s the first time in their 126 year old history that a black photographer’s work has featured on the cover of the leading fashion magazine. Acclaimed photographer, Tyler Mitchell from Atlanta but now based in New York, actually took all the photos of the pop princess.
Speaking to Vogue, Beyoncé said, “I think it’s important for women and men to see and appreciate the beauty in their natural bodies. That’s why I stripped away the wigs and hair extensions and used little makeup for this shoot. To this day my arms, shoulders, breasts, and thighs are fuller.”.
Even if you are not a Beyonce fan, its certainly worth checking out her photos and interview in this September’s edition of Vogue.
