Harry styles fronts Gucci’s Cruise 2019 collection. One Direction star, Harry Styles adds a touch of nostalgia to fashion in Gucci’s new ad campaign that features him wearing an array of outfits that are inspired by the look of the 60’s and 70’s .
The singer looks like he has stepped straight out of the love and peace era as he posed in coats, shirts and trousers that wouldn’t look out of place of rockers of the same generation, Mick Jagger from the Rolling Stones or John Lennon of the Beatles.
The 24-year old One Direction front man really captures the look of the generation of the time that would even inspire our grandparents of today. The Italian fashion house made a good choice when choosing Harry as he is pictured holding a range of farm animals in the photos that includes a baby sheep and piglet and boy does he look dapper!
One noticeable things in all photos is that Harry Styles wears a gold headpiece throughout the shoot which not many models could pull off. The new campaign models Gucci’s Cruise 2019 collection, and was shot by photographer Glen Luchford on location at the Villa Lante in central Italy.
In a press statement by the Italian design house Gucci said, “The campaign playfully positions Harry Styles’s personal, urban take on the Gucci tailoring wardrobe amongst the classic, stylised landscape of the gardens, where fountains, grottoes and mazes characterise the ancient surroundings.”
The singer, come actor rose to fame on leading TV entertainment show The X Factor in 2010 where he was paired alongside Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik to form One Direction who went on to sell millions of albums and collect numerous award before the band decided to take a break in 2015.
Things didn’t stop for Harry though as he continues his solo music career and made his first debut in acting as part of Christopher Nolan’s war film, Dunkirk, in July 2017 playing a British soldier named Alex who is a part of the Dunkirk evacuation in World War 2.
