Jennifer Aniston shares the secret behind her killer body. Jennifer Aniston has let the world in on the secret to her physique: boxing.
While she may not be competing for a boxing title, Aniston said that boxing is not only great for her fitness, but it’s also a great way to get some aggression out.
Aniston has also revealed which trainer she boxes with, Leyon Azubuike, who is the founder of LA boxing gym, Gloveworx. Oh, and he’s also the former sparring partner of WBC heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne.
And, for those of us who can’t fly out to LA for a training session with Azubuike, don’t worry because he has shared how he uses a ‘strong strength and conditioning regime’ to whip his clients into shape.
In an interview with Vogue Australia, he said: “We use boxing as the primary modality to get our clients into shape supported by a strong strength and conditioning regime,”
“This consists of high reps with light weights and we’re also very big on resistance bands. “
“Our sessions are about an hour and they consist of three distinct phases: warm up phase, work out phase and a cool down phase.”
When it comes to doing some cardio sessions on her own, Aniston like to take a more relaxed approach, sticking to 15-minute intervals.
She said: “”I usually do a trifecta. Fifteen minutes on the bike, 15 on the treadmill running, and then 15 on the elliptical. You have to shake it up, you know, muscle confusion.”
As for diet, the ‘Friends’ star had this advice to share.
“Eat as much organic fruit and vegetables as you can, keep sugar [intake] low, drink tons and tons of water, and get good sleep.”
