Karl Lagerfeld unveils Kaia Gerber capsule collection. Kaia Gerber has collaborated with Karl Lagerfeld to create a capsule streetwear collection.

The 16-year-old model has teamed up with the 84-year-old designer on a selection of streetwear pieces, simply called Karl Lagerfeld x Kaia, which combines her laid back California style with his Parisian signature look.

The range, available from August 30th, will include cropped hoodies, cut-out dresses, leather fingerless gloves and cotton tuxedo blazer with Kaia’s name on the collar.

Kaia’s collection with Karl was announced at the start of this year and is the company’s largest collaboration to date.
Pier Paolo Righi, CEO of Karl Lagerfeld, said they are excited about the venture.

In a statement, he said: “When Karl first told us his idea to collaborate with Kaia, we were all excited by the incredible potential and power of bringing their two worlds together.

“We have been working intensely over the last months with Kaia in LA and at our studio in Paris. It was exciting to see her clear vision, passion and engagement, and the collection will definitely inspire many young women.”
