Kim Kardashian West is guest speaker at Beautycon. Keeping Up With the Kardashian’s star. Kim Kardashian West has been confirmed to be the keynote speaker at the Beautycon event in Los Angeles this July.

The 37-year-old reality star is the headline booking for the two-day networking extravaganza for the cosmetic industry which is expected to attract over 22,000 guests to the Los Angeles Convention Centre on 14th and 15th July 2018.

A post on the official Beautycon Instagram announced Kim’s involvement, saying: “Hey dolls, @kimkardashian is literally coming to #BeautyconLA. Bible? Bible. [sic]”

After establishing herself as reality TV icon on ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’, Kim has become one of the world’s leading social media influencers and also has her own cosmetics brand, KKW Beauty.

This year’s convention will also feature a talk with Kim’s makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic – who has worked with her for 10 years – and her hairstylist Chris Appleton. Other guests booked to speak at Beautycon include Salma Hayek, Emma Roberts, ‘Riverdale’ star Madelaine Petsch, Lady Gaga’s makeup artist Sarah Nicole Tanno and Tokyo Stylez, who is best known for making wigs for the likes Cardi B, Nicki Minaj and Kylie Jenner.

Beautycon will showcase 100 beauty brands, including Kim’s sister Kylie Jenner’s makeup line Kylie Cosmetics and newcomer Charlotte Tilbury.

Beautycon CEO Moj Mahdara told The Hollywood Reporter: “It’s also our first year to offer ‘B-well,’ which is an area of 20 to 30 brands showcasing supplements and nutritional items focused on well-being, and ‘K-town,’ because Korean beauty is a billion-dollar industry globally, with $996 million funneled into the US and our market is super-duper interested in international products.

Our other goal is to build the ultimate retail experiential pop-up in the beauty market. The numbers we’re seeing on the consumer spend are mind-blowing. People come to Beautycon to shop!”
