Netflix to screen documentary about Chanel. Fans of the legendary fashion label, Chanel are in for a real treat this month as American media service supplier, Netflix are set to screen a new “behind the scenes” documentary about the leading fashion house.
The “fly on the wall” documentary will feature fashion supremo and luxury brand overseer, Karl Lagerfeld with the new show titled” 7 Days Out” showing exclusive back ground footage of the Chanel’s haute couture spring-summer show filmed back in 2018.
Chanel, founded back in 1909 in Paris, France by Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, first started life as a millinery shop for the rich and famous living in the Parisian capital but soon evolved into one of the most respected and recognised fashion brands in the world today. One of the many famous quotes from Coco Chanel who passed away in 1971 was “In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.”
Today, Chanel are infamous for producing high-end quality, clothing, footwear, jewellery and cosmetics. The French fashion house are renowned for their privacy and this will give any Chanel fan a rate glimpse into the goings on behind the scenes as the chic French fashion brand prepares for one of their important shows.
Director of the new show, Andrew Rossi was given free access to film behind the scenes that included following Chanel’s German henchman, Karl Lagerfeld around for 7 days, providing an important insight to how he and the brand prepare and operate in the word of fashion.
The Netflix documentary, 7 Days Out, will be available for viewing on Netflix on the 21st December 2018.
