Pat McGrath Labs reveals new shades of MatteTrance Lipstick. It was announced last month that Pat McGrath’s makeup collection, Pat McGrath Labs, has reached a valuation of over $1 billion after only two years in business and the iconic makeup artist is celebrating.
The beloved beauty mogul has just unveiled 10 new shades of her MatteTrance Lipstick, delighting her fans everywhere.
Staying true to the moisture-rich and long-lasting formula that made the MatteTrance a 2017 Allure Best of Beauty award winner, the new additions range from a beautiful soft crimson (Flesh 5) to an electric purple (Magnetic Magenta). The new shades bring MatteTrance’s shade count to a massive 30 varieties.
McGrath has revealed the inspiration behind some of the shade names. The shade Quinevere, a deep red, takes it name from fellow makeup artist and model Guinevere van Seenus. The shades Christy and Elson 2, a mauve and orange-red colour respectively, have been named after ‘80s models Christy Turlington and Karen Elson.
