Victoria Beckham talks about her new Reebok collection. British fashion designer, Victoria Beckham reveals her thoughts behind her new sportswear collection for sports retailer, Reebok.

The ex-Spice Girl is today one of the world’s most liked and respected fashion designers of her generation and she is hoping that her new collaboration with Reebok will appeal to all sexes.

The 44-year old Londoner has again teamed up with the German sports retailer for a new collection of sportswear that includes footwear and sports fashion wear and wants it to work for both men and women.

The designer who is married to ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid footballer, David Beckham revealed that her family all share diffrent sportswear garments in her house.

Chatting to fashion bible, Vogue about her new collection, Victoria said: “Every time I go into a product category, it’s because I want that thing in my life, I work out a lot, so sportswear is very important to me and my wardrobe.”

“It needs to work, as well as look good. Just because I’m a woman doesn’t mean I want to wear pink trainers, in our house we all share sportswear, so it was important that this collection worked for both women and men.”

Beckham also revealed her delight when her youngest son, Cruz, asked her last week for a pair of her new Reebok trainers. She went on to explain: “This is a kid who logs on every Thursday morning to see what Supreme products have dropped, he knows about trainer exclusives all around the world and he likes mine!”

Victoria also said that she had to test out her new new fashion line herself as other members of her family can be bothered to go to the gym. She herself works every day with a two hour fitness routine that includes treadmill work as well as dancing and weightlifting. Victoria’s new Reebok collection is available to buy on line now.
